Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth

Around 123 years ago in the year 1884, a group of visionaries with a social cause formed Shri Vaishnav Sahayak Cloth Market Committee. With a keen foresight, the committee saw the need for various slots in education in independent India, hence, to serve the cause, established Shri Cloth Market Vaishnav Higher Secondary School in 1951. The plant which was roped in 1951 converted into a large tree when the school shifted in its present building whose foundation stone was laid down by eminent scholar and former President His Excellency Sarvapalli Dr. Radhakrishnan in 1960.
